Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro
-my sweet headphones for deep nights
The DT 770 PRO is a closed dynamic headphone and I use it for music and sound monitoring.
The transducers are fitted to adjustable yokes which are positioned to fully enclose the ear.
It's very fine for isolating noises coming from my girlfriend's laptop (quite different music
tastes hehe).
The coiled cord is very sexy I must admit. It can be extended to a maximum of 3 m and is terminated
with a gold plated mini-jack and a 1/4" stereo jack adapter.
The sound is clean, detailed and accurate. I really love an outstanding bass performance. Good to
distinguish details. It has 5-35k frequency response (oh my gosh that's wide). Anyway the mids are
rather flat. There're quite expensive and I'm sure you could get headphones with the same quality
for a lower price. But hey - I like them. A nice retro design. Very comfortable for a longer usage
(anyway, you need to get used to it because DT 770 PRO are quite heavy). Output is a little bit low -
some amp would be great but it's convenient for me.
